Very beautiful Ron.

Awesome!

I am out of the nursing homes early today and the daylight is good.  So, here are some pictures of the large, 2.25" square board on my family room carpet.  I took the board out of its tube and reverse rolled it for about a minute or so.  This is not a floppy leather but has some stiffness to the board.  You can see this in the one earlier picture where I showed the back of the board.  As you can see the board lies perfectly flat with no waves.

How much was the 2.25"?

I bought more than just the one board.

The best thing would be to contact Mario for pricing.

Hi Ron, and everyone else here.  I have recently been given the link to this thread. I must say it did warm my heart incredibly to hear Eyechess' review. Not to mention the feedback in this thread, it is invaluable and I noticed there were lots of questions that I probably haven't addressed as transparently as I would like.

I have created a new listing on our Etsy shop, where you can see all the customisable options and their associated costs.  Shipping is the only thing I could not alter, but I would as usual refund any excess shipping charged.

Again, thank you all of those who have already a set from me, I do greatly enjoy making them, and enjoy even more when I know they are being played on and enjoyed thoroughly. I have fun when ya'll have fun happy.png

All the very best.

ps.  Oh, i forgot, I will be filming the chess sets as soon as I am able to show ya'll how the board lies flat, I understand this is a major concern for most.  I will also go through some general care instructions so that the set can give you a lot of years of enjoyment.

Wow, it has been 2 years since I first got these boards!  Time does fly by.

I am still using the boards and sets and clocks as pictured earlier in this topic.  In fact, both of them are on the back seat of my car right now.

While I don't use the larger board for tournament play anymore, it is completely suitable for that.  Instead I have the larger one for casual or skittle play with friends.

The smaller board, I use a lot for analysis and when in a coffee shop with smaller tables.

They are nice boards and I like the fact that you have variety in your overall collection.Nice job.
