Update: After writing nearly 20 e-mails and waiting 3 months I got my money back! Thx Miko! Yesterday arrived my board no. 6, the ChessUp2. Playing with this board at chess.com makes fun and works fluently. And board no.7 is paid at pre-sell: The Chessnut Move! It will become my first board with self moving pieces. After this trade I will stop buying. Enough ist enough.

I have had my square off pro for two years now and simply love the board! In my eyes, the customer service is top notch and they truly care about their customers! I agree with the above poster. I have owned a Square Off Pro for a number of years and was concerned that it was going to become obsolete, Miko support has really been a responsive over the last couple of months so hopefully they will be committed to their products going forward.

I bought the Miko Chess product online, but the online play speed was extremely slow and unreliable. I decided to return it within the 30-day return period. The supplier received the product back but refused to refund my money, even after promising to do so. I also tried resolving it through PayPal, but the seller still kept both the product and my money. Very untrustworthy — I would not recommend buying from this supplier.
Miko is proving more and more unreliable. They have not updates and modernised their phone app for a few years now. Paypal must refund your money if you have the postage receipt and proof that the item has been received by the seller. Keep pressing paypal.
ever since Miko bought square off the service level has gone down the hill.
I agree, Miko cannot manage Square-off company, unresponsive customer service, no understanding of how square-off products work, no understanding of market needs, no understanding of chess computer technology and basically no understanding of chess itself. Their Square-off mobile phone app has not been updated for almost years and they cannot produce competitive chess computers any more!
hey i own a miko chess board bought it in late 2024 but cant seem to connect to the board in 2026 now im revisiting it does anyone know how to play with the new ui against a freind or random opponent?
I have a Square Off Pro since it was released and use it every week to play against my friend who has the same board. We migrated from the Square Off app and now use the Miko app to play these games against each other (or against the Miko AI bot). We then export the game PGN and we analyze it using Game Review in Chesscom. I was having issues using the Android app, but switched to iOS and things run very smoothly. NOTE: We are not playing via Chesscom or LiChess... we are playing within the Miko eco system.

I played a game today on chess.com to check my Square-off Pro’s performance. I came across zero issue during almost one hour playing. I used the Square-off app for playing on chess.com.

Has anyone experience with Miko chess? I have bought a Miko Chess board at 1.10.24, because I am interested playing with a computer with self moving pieces. The problem is, that they did not start the delivering and the money is lost. At the moment I can t recommend this company and want to warn other people. I am using several computer from Millennium, ChessUp und Chessnut and every deal was working perfectly. Miko had bought a greater part from Square Off. I have read, that there existed problems too. Probably the first time, that I was cheated!
