Congrats mister Wids! That's another beauty classy looking set I just have seen in 5 minutes now lol and both from SC. That's what I like about SC, you get beautiful carved looking set for reasonable price.
Beautiful THICC Rooks! The SC Nathaniel 1849 is so perfectly proportioned. Nice consistent finish and polish. Inside the Rook tops too. Overall, a great set of chessmen. Congrats.

I bought them directly from the SC website. It took about 2 weeks to get here.

I just got this yesterday. It’s my first purchase from Staunton Castle.
I think it’s pretty nice, big fat rooks! The pieces are hefty, and feel really solid in my hands. 🙂
