About the knights - yes they look awful indeed, we can assume some clubs buy these sets and then remove the ugly knights and replace then with german knight style's knights !?

Yeah i certainly know about that set, they are indeed one of the candidates to be chosen, the way i wrote the sentence may have been somewhat incomprehensible. But i was saying that it appears that some clubs purchase the chubby-set including the ugly knight first then they replace it with german knights for completing the set entirely.
King size is preferred around 3 inches or about 7.5 centimeters, all-around Intermediate.
