New in Chess Magazine

Dear fellows,

What are your opinions about the NIC Magazine? Is it worth it? I am serious about chess, not as a professional, but as a consistent tournament player. Does anyone here have a subscription?

Any feedback/advice is highly welcome and appreciated.

It's an excellent magazine, but it won't teach you chess

Well, of course it won't teach me chess, but at least I can find out some interesting novelties and concepts from the leading GM's. Plus, the columns should be fun to read!

As far as chess magazines go, NIC Magazine is one of the best around (in the English-speaking world).

It also has a "reasonable" price, IMO. Compared to CB Magazine, at least...

It's awesome.
