CAUTION! Not the best of disguises for a mugger or armed robber.

Lou,  I might have to steal that pic of the guy with the chessboard face.  Would be a great promo shot!

You guys are having too much fun!!

I agree with Lou and I agree with Shelby.  Can I do that and get away with it?

I really don't mind the repeating pattern, personally.  And I really do like that wood color combination a lot to being the best.

Since I like the wood colors, like most everyone else, perhaps Shelby can find a pattern of those exact wood colors, but a complete image as he has with the other wood colors.

and please make the border the Padauk as I believe that will make the most realistic for a wood board look.

    Shelby,

Here's a tag line to go along with the picture.

If had my druthers (and the $$$) I'd buy me one these!

Wonderful for use in my castle estate or my villa by the sea. But since I have yet to acquire either of these, and play (almost exclusively) out and about, portability is an issue. Since I prefer playing with larger sets, which require larger chess boards, having an array of "boards without borders" allows me to squeeze the largest size board in any available space.

    Lou,

That board is amazing.  I would be eating Ramen and Baloney sandwiches for months to be able to afford that one.
