One of my two chess clocks

This is one of two favorite tournament clocks of mine.

I love the red/blue colour! Does it have delay and increment?

It isn't. I've only ever used it in one competition and that was a blitz competition. So it is literally brand new. Now my other one is dusty but is like new as well. Which I just found today.

For time controls with delay, this clock is awful because it doesn’t show the delay countdown in digits and instead just has the word delay flash at you each second during the delay countdown. This makes it almost impossible to know when the delay time will run out and when your main time will start counting down again. This can be a big issue if you are low on time. 

That is because the only tournaments I use this clock for are blitz tournaments lol. I agree with you that the time controls with delay/increment are a challenge with this particular clock. No arguments there. But for blitz, I believe the first two options are ideal for that one. It has its pros and cons as do many clocks out there. But I love the way it feels when I play speed chess.

I guess the blitz tournaments you play in don't have delay or increment.

Also, the clock is fine for increment. It's just delay that is the problem.

Small town club tournaments mostly but yes they didn't utilize delay or increment. Now my other clock that I have is my tournament clock. However that one looks rough around the edges because I need to clean it lol. Works like new though.
