Opinion on move by move series by Everyman?

I am considering getting 2-3 books of Move by Move series from Everyman. Particularly, I was curious what people think of Zenón Franco books on Rubenstein and planning, and Engqvist on Stein and Petrosian?
Franco seems to be pretty well reviewed on amazon and elsewhere. And although I don’t have Lakdawala books, I’ve seen highlights and reviews of his works and I think I would be annoyed by his constant useless prose distractions.

*Kindaspongey - please don’t post links to reviews of books - I’ve read them all. I’m curious what people here think, not what other peers have written in magazines and their blogs.
