Not sure about software, but on "our" level Seirawan has a "How to use pawns" chapter in his "Winning Chess Strategies." Patrick Wolff has a "Pawn Shop" chapter in his Idiot's Guide. Jeff Coakley's excellent "Winning Chess Strategy for Kids" (not really just for kids) has chapters on "Weak Pawns", "Strong Pawns" and "Rams and Levers."

My rating is around 1300 so I am not ready for Soltis's book on pawns. But I need something to help me understand more about pawn structure and how to use pawns.
Is there any software that deals with pawns? For that matter, any books with good chapters on pawns?
Thanks.
