Pieces for 35mm squares

after many hours of searching for a compact, non-folding board I've finally settled on this one from Regency Chess. However, I'm finding harder to source pieces to go with it. I would love an ebony/ebonized and maple style. These or these are nice, but I was looking for something a bit nicer- for example, these are lovely but obviously too big for my board. I really like these as well but again, too big. That Knight looks so happy!!

Just wondering if anyone has any suggestions?

Hi, check these......

thanks - I hadn't seen those. They're nice! Albeit probably tight at 32mm to a 35mm square - but I don't mind if its a bit 'cramped'

OK, then maybe here?

Nice one, not bad at all

found this nice compact Zagreb set too for anyone in the same predicament as me.

if there was a Leningrad set this size I think it would be perfect for what I want. Love that style of Knight.

sorry I made a mistake - the board I got has 4cm squares happy

should make it a lot easier.

35mm squares is one of my favorite sizes. Check out my previous thread on this... https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/chess-pieces-for-analysis-board-with-35-mm

I really like the Rechapados Ferrer board you mention as well.

Well... since you are at 40mm squares now... I assume the options for pieces will be similar. Check out Chavet.

Regency Chess UK has a set called Corinthian Tres Corone but its quite costly. It is basically a luxury analysis chess set. King base is 31 mm so will fit your board. There are three half sets in this offering so price is higher.

Think I've changed my mind on the set. Found this on my hunt and I really like it all. The beveled edge on the board is very nice too. Appreciate that it's a bit bigger than the previous board but I just like the look of it
