Hi all,

I'd like to begin studying the Czech variation in the Pirc, for black, but I can't easily find a book on this specific line; many thanks in advance in case someone is able to recommend a good resource.

Thanks.

I do have CB16 and I'm intentioned to build a database of such games; however, I'm of a different nature, and would like to get a book on such line.

It is very very kind of you - I really appreciate, but I don't want to bother you. My MegaDB is approx. 11 million games, all nicely filtered, cleaned.. so having games is not the issue. But again thank-you.

The point is that I really love books. I have a couple dozens, and I like studying on them and... underline the key concepts. I know, it's a very old habit, I'm 54. I also have the iPad with a bunch of eBooks on it, but I only get to the iPad in case I'm travelling or can't get to the paper copies I bought.

Think of it like a "strange" way of collecting..

A Black Defensive System with 1…d6 by GM Andrew Soltis has a good coverage of the Czech variation of the Pirc. Although published in 1994, it is a good reference book for those who play the Pirc, Czech Variation and Neo Old Indian defense.
