Question about Drueke 64 I purchased off ebay

I recently purchased a Drueke 64 board (2 1/4 inch squares) off ebay.  Based off the sticker and gold block letter style Drueke logo, I was just wondering approximately when this board was manufactured?  I've read some of the threads on here about some of the beautiful Drueke boards amongst our community, so I am assuming some of you folks will be able to provide some insight.  The board I purchased is beautiful and I'm really excited about it.

Thank you.

I'm pretty sure that board is circa early 2000s. The sticker, the discrete gold logo, and the light, almost grain-free, Aspen wood.

There are quite a few vintage Drueke boards on eBay right now. Haven't seen so many in a long time. Good time to be a buyer.

@Pawnerai

Thanks for the info.  Yeah I noticed quite a few of them, the condition varies a lot, so I was pleased to snag one in great condition.

Congratulations! May I be the first to beg…. Errrr….. ask you to post some picture of the new board?

From what I remember reading about Drueke boards here at CB&E, I believe the gold letters indicates the board was from the 90s and on after the company was sold to Carrom. See post #5 https://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/wtb-drueke-33-2-5-king

Thank you as well. My first Drueke. When I saw it was in such great condition, I couldn’t pass it up.

Nice touch on the seller's part to use the original shipping box.

Note the plastic corner sticker on the OP's beautiful board says:

The Drueke Company
Ludington, Michigan

This clear triangular sticker was used in the last 16(ish)-year period of time when Drueke was sold to Carrom (based in Ludington, MI). From 1992 to the end of production in 2008(ish), Drueke manufacturing was moved to Ludington from Grand Rapids. Enjoy the board. It's a stunning example.

If it was me, I would immediately try to very slowly and gently remove those shipping labels while the adhesive is still relatively "fresh." The seller should've double boxed that puppy. Glad it arrived undamaged!

Following up on @Pawnerai , heat up the labels with a blow dryer for a bit and then gently lift off.

I agree that it should’ve been double boxed. When it arrived I was definitely nervous until I opened it. Thanks for the insights and compliments.
