I thought the whole point of a Kickstarter campaign launch was exactly to get the investment up front. Have I misunderstood Kickstarter.

Thats exactly how Kickstarter works.

LOL.  This is right out of the scammer's playbook.  No legitimate company responds by email to an unknown person and includes in the response "don't share this with anyone else."

Yes, a confidentiality statement in an (supposedly) unencrypted email to some random person makes total sense.

Most companies now have an automatic postscript on their emails as a get out clause if one of their bumbling employees sends a company sensitive email to the wrong address. The postscript is left on even when the email is generic and answering non-sensitive correspondence from a member of the public. This is because the sender does not see the postscript when composing the email so forgets it is there.

The postscript goes along the lines of:
If the email was received in error and not for the person intended then the company should be informed and the content not shared.

All you would need to do is delete any sensitive information from the email before posting it such as the address (email and physical) it came from, the name of the person who replied to you and their phone number, including extension.

Everything else in the email should be non-sensitive unless a company employee dropped a clanger.

That's right, it's absolutely normal to receive that message at the bottom of the emails of any serious company. In this forum there are people who want to see strange things where there is none. I don't know if it's stupidity or ignorance...

That does seem a bit strange. The thread on Facebook that was referenced above has also disappeared completely. Not sure who pulled it or why.

That is not true. The thread on Facebook is still there. What is really strange is that you supposedly wrote in that Facebook thread and now you say that it has disappeared. Can't find your own comments on Facebook? Please, check again.

The thread on facebook has returned and no I didn't forget where I left it. I clicked on my notifications from Angel and they came up blank. When I tried it again a few minutes ago the thread appeared again.

This, no reason not to post the whole email. Any pretense to confidentiality went out the window as soon as he hit the reply button to some random internet inquiry.

Not that I'd expect Mr. Delgado to say anything different than what is being reported here.

These guys had a really good run: the Cicret Bracelet scam:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCG8Plq5AK6oHg_ZfMLjsIBQ

And all their fake videos are still up on youtube!!!!  LOL!!!

Here's some food for thought:

2:44 in the Regium video you can see the auto center feature in action.

But at the Queen move at 1:24 there is no auto-centering to be seen... (There are more examples if you pay attention, but that is pretty clear).

How long does it take to get a short camera phone video of  the working prototype in action playing a person in the same frame as the moving pieces, and post it up to a facebook page?

Nothing wrong with being a Regium skeptic.

Agreed. Nothing wrong with being open minded either, although some are so open minded their brains have fallen out!

OK, Kickstarter guys can close the business because there is a fake video on Internet and that means that all projects are fake... Your reasoning and conclusions makes no sense.

Sherlock, if you take time to read the web, you would see that Auto-Centering is an optional function (ON/OFF). It simply does not have it activated in the 1:24 minute to avoid distractions or confuse with extra movements, because it's not the time to show it. And they show it explicitly in 2:44.
Another explanation could be that we are seeing a prototype, which would be logical that it wasn't yet 100% finished, and a bug would be normal, but for the eyes of evil any situation is criticizable. For you, if it's perfect is fake, if it's not perfect is fake. We already know your position.
