There are some old Drueke catalogs in, I believe, the Rochester, NY library. I've been meaning to get them through inter-library loan, but haven't had the time. They may shed some light on this mystery. I initially thought that the set I posted above was a Drueke, but have since been convinced it's from Beekay. I have a recollection of seeing a more rounded king, much like yours, in a Drueke catalog at one point.
