put some pics up please
These are some of the Noj acquisitions I've gathered a few years ago. The photos in the boxes follow the same sequence as on the two chessboards which have 2.25" squares each. An ideal ratio size for these 3 sets IMHO. FYI.

Wow!- they are simply stunning bro, thank you so much for sharing your amazing sets- top man.I bet you can't wait to get your new set later this year. I'l look forward to seeing them
Thank you but I'm just an amateur collector. there are collectors who have collections that make mine look like I'm still in grade school and theirs are akin to being in University. Far more superior in both rare and exotic finds. I'm quite content with the bounty of sets I have amassed so far to date. There is always room for improvement though.
I own two Noj sets: A Dubrovnik 1950 and a BCE stage 1 Eastern, both of which -- of course -- are stunning. People always say that Noj's prices are high, which is of course true, but House of Staunton sells pieces in the same price range, and those aren't nearly as attractive as Noj's.
The Dubronik II and the Dubrovnik Minceta don't interest me much, as they both look to me like merely slightly less attractive versions of the Dubrovnik 1950 that I already own, but I am tempted to buy a GM Pavasovič set. Does this set work better on a 57mm/2.25" board or on a 60mm/2.375" board?
Pics of my two Noj sets, you mean? Sure, I can do that! Here they are, on a Colorado Woodworker board:

That really is a nice chess set there, The Noj Dubrovnik 1950 's .
How many of us are "still in a stable relationship " I wonder ?
What the weight like in them?- they are stunning bro
They are quite light, for a high-end set, especially the Dubrovniks.
Dubrovnik 1950 weights:
Pawn: 27g, Knight: 35g, Bishop: 31g, Rook: 31g, Queen: 35g, King: 40g
BCE weights:
Pawn: 33g, Knight: 53g, Bishop: 45g, Rook: 52g, Queen: 51g, King: 61g
I wonder if the pic with the brush depicts the coating of the walnut pieces or the staining of the brown pieces.
The whole process is just amazing. Thanks for sharing Forked 👏👏👏👏
Uhmmm, I am not Forked...

With that jar of “finish” sitting right there, I believe it is the coating of the Walnut.
Gregor emailed me that more pictures of the finish work will come.

I believe it's clear liquid finishing wax with a carnauba wax- oil blend as per the labeling on the tin can and what is visible in the glass jars. IMO-FYI but I could be mistaken.
That round metal container looks like it could be lacquer. I wonder what that cream colored jelly stuff is in the glass one, then.
Thanks for the updated photos Ron, it surely has ramped up my desire to obtain this new offering from Noj. Perhaps a fall purchase for my own collection, I'm hoping.

And I am not sharing! LOL!
For the Game of Thrones and Dubrovnik fan: 19 Game of Thrones Filming Locations in Dubrovnik. Number 9 is Minčeta tower, featured in Season 2.
I normally don't like modern sets but that is a really pretty one. I like the metal bases.
It makes you wonder WTF FIDE was up to when they commissioned their official pluguglies. They had a wonderful modern set right under their noses. The metal-ring base makes all the difference, I think.
Let's see...
I own 3 Dubrovnik II sets; Walnut, Red and Brown. So yes, this will be Noj Dubrovnik number 4 for me.
I own a BCE set, in Walnut with Stainless Steel Bases.
And I own a GM Pavasovic set, in Walnut.
So, this will be my 6th Noj set, yikes!
I'm not far behind you in sets from Noj. I have a black stained Tal 1st version with faceless knights, a red stained Dubrovnik II and a GM Pavasovic as well with contrasting finials on the bishop, king and queens. I will be putting in my order for this new Minceta brown stained Dubrovnik in the fall. It's a definite must have for my collection.
