Use of DGT Smart board without DGT Pi

Hi everyone! I've got two questions, would be glad if you could guide me. I really want a smart board - actually, I would've wanted more a computer like Novag Citrine, but a bit scared to get cheated to buy online from someone. Started looking and found this one: http://chessgamesshop.com/mobile.php?c=51&p=111370 Buying DGT Pi is not an option for me right now. So, my first question is: will I be able to play against bots on chess. com without even the DGT 3000 clock? Or it is better to get the clock? The second is, is it really safe to buy on chessgamesshop. com? I've seen comments, recommending this site, but Google says it is not safe to use cards there,

Currently, Chess.com doesn't allow you to play their bots, only matches with DGT board. However, lichess.org allows both. I have a DGT board and 3000 Pi. You don't need the latter.  Your PC and Smartphone will out perform the Pi and offer more options.  Personally, I use Fat Fritz 2.0 on my PC more than the Rasberry Pi. Chess for the Android is a good phone app. 

Generally, buying online, I recommend you should stick with established sites (e.g.,Chess House, Chess Central, Amazon) and pay a bit more. In my experience, Amazon seems to be the middle man for DGT sales from European businesses, so the shipping times can be slow, but the prices are more competitive.
