The set was most certainly produced by Lardy and marketed under the Drueke label.


What marks the set as a Drueke is what came with it--the classic Drueke instructions on how to move pieces.

Yes. I haven't put them on the scale, but they're weighted like typical Lardy sets.

I recently added a wooden Drueke set to my collection. It was originally purchased by a member of the Calgary Chess Club in 1954. It's shown here on a vintage Drueke Grandmaster board with 2.25" squares.
