I recently added a wooden Drueke set to my collection. It was originally purchased by a member of the Calgary Chess Club in 1954. It's shown here on a vintage Drueke Grandmaster board with 2.25" squares.

The set was most certainly produced by Lardy and marketed under the Drueke label.

What marks the set as a Drueke is what came with it--the classic Drueke instructions on how to move pieces.

Nice!

You most have good nights in with the board and all that drink.

LOL. The chess table is at one end of the game room. The bar and the beer fridges at the other. In close proximity.

Yes. I haven't put them on the scale, but they're weighted like typical Lardy sets.

Why are showing this????

Because it's vintage equipment and this is a chess equipment forum.

My pleasure Mike. I like the patina on both.
