Weighted plastic chess pieces

I ordered black because green was out of stock when I ordered. Green was available before they fulfilled my order so I got it switched to green.

LOL! I'm already looking at silicone and mouse pad boards to order.

@PBKid silicone boards in my opinion are the worst. Mainly because they are pet hair magnets and dirt. Also they are not very well for sliding pieces on the board. The thin mouse pads are a much better option. Go to chesshouse and get one of their Flex Pad boards if you would like a mouse pad board. I would suggest getting their Olive Green Flex Pad. Very good contrast with your new Ultimate Chess Pieces. Go to post #16 on that forum page. You will see what it will look like.

@KnightsForkCafe That was one of my options. I like the olive green but I also like the dark slate grey one too. I'm also looking at those full color vinyl boards. I like the faux wood mouse pads and they have a few of those in full color.

@PBKid I found that the dark slate grey blended too much with Black pieces. I would suggest staying away from dark colored board due to Black pieces. I would suggest getting a color that contrasts both the yellow & black colors of your Ultimate Chess Pieces. However this is your decision and choice.  

@KnightsForkCafe I'll have to consider that. I do want there to be contrast but not tacky.

Question...? Do chess pieces slide on flexpad or mousepad boards?

@PBKid as long as the felt is real felt and not the paper type felt. They will somewhat slide. Vinyl and wooden boards give you the best sliding properties. 

@KnightsForkCafe I'll have to consider that too. oh well. I have time to consider.

@PBKid whether mouse pad or vinyl. You simply can't go wrong with either. I would suggest getting a quality Made In USA vinyl board over the cheaper basic club vinyl boards if you choose to go vinyl. Flex Pad in my opinion are the best solid colored mouse pad boards. 

@KnightsForkCafe The vinyl board I have coming with my Ultimate set is a WE Games. I don't know where they're made.

@KnightsForkCafe here we go again. Fedex put another exemption on my Ultimate chess set. They all the sudden can't find my location even though they're here all the time.

@KnightForkCafe Thing is I live in the middle of nowhere. An hour and a half from where the Fedex sorting facility is. I currently don't have a vehicle so i'm at the mercy of Fedex. My guess its the only package out this far and he doesn't want to drive that farjust for it. Its okay. Theres other stuff coming so eventually he'll be here and have to explain himself.

Third delivery day today and third delivery exemption. Absolutely ridiculous!!! Fedex is complete nonsense at this point!!!

NAH! One of Shelbys employees stuck it out with me all week on this. I forgot to get her name but I am Greatful for her Help and Support. I know Shelby gets a lot of flak on here and a lot of trolling but his team stuck with me thru the holiday and got it delivered.

I know if I need anymore ordering I will definitely roll with them again if they have what I need. Great products... Great People...

@KnightsForkCafe And its awesome. The buttery color is kinda nice. ANd the roll up vinyl board fit perfect in that Staples tube.

@PBKid Too late you are now going into the chess set black hole. LOL! I recently got a Romanian / Hungarian set in Red Stained Boxwood. Man I love that set. Especially on my granite printed vinyl board.

@KnightsForkCafe Wow! Thats nice. Im still debating on my next set. I'm not ready for the whole wooden set yet. Well at least until I can get a solid wood board.
