The thing about Raphael and The Chess House is that he has worked a lot to carry high quality stuff.
The wood boards he carries are great. I own quite a few of them. The FlexPad board is another example of his efforts. I remember when he was working to have these produced. He was careful to get the best color quality and combinations for play.
The House of Chess has been a standard for many years. I remember buying from them back in 2009. Their Yugoslav Zagreb set is exceptional. I bought one. When holding the Knight in your hand it feels like it could be a weapon. The finishing is not the finest, but works quite well, especially at this price range.
I would not hesitate buying from them.

Just made an order from them. No product yet, but the customer service was beyond awesome.
I’ve had a horrendous experience with a larger outfit, but Chess House was far superior.
