What is up with people who see a horse's head and think chess ???
"Vintage Sonsco Japan Carousel Horse Head Chess Knight Table Lighter Multicolor"
From the description:
"It looks just light a Knight chess piece, other than it has a lighter on the top of its head. The lighter pops right out. It is out of lighter fluid, but sparks!
It's base color is white, with pink blue and yellow polka dots and a cream iridescent glaze overall."

Some pages ago I posted about some Old Crow decanters that I though where Duncan pieces... short after that other member of this forum says he is interested on getting this set... I don't remember the name of the user, otherways i would have send this on personal message.
There is a whole set on e-bay starting at $400 or buy it now for $525, wich aparently is a great deal considering other people on this forums is talking of this set from $750 and up to 1k.
Here is the link, anyway, I hope it is helpfull:

FOR SALE: extra large chess board checkers board wood - $10
comments: Extra large wooden chess board / checkers board. Pretty cool, think someone made it but did a good job. Could be made into a table. Measures about 2 foot by 2 foot, maybe a little larger.
To be fare, Draughts is not very well known in the United States.
Kenardi, seller is correct. Board is indeed "extra large" as well as "maybe a little larger" even. I don't see the problem.
Also good one, Upcountryrain.
lol this are great entries.
The chess set probably is the first true Napoleon chess set on staunton design
The board one I gotta love those descriptions: "think someone made it"
Here a couple of bad designed boards.... and it is so sad they go to all the trouble to build this things and then get the square colors wrong.

The second one provides 2 pictures. The first one is intriging... besides the fact that I cna see South America and Africa on the north part of the map.... I still wondering what this have to do with chess...

Then It comes this other picture and I am not sure what the problem is here... rather the colors are wrong or I would hate it if I have to play on the Black side:

For the globe chessboard, I think the board is removable, so it could be turned. At least I hope so!

Long ago, I had a cheap metal folding chess table that had the black squares lower right -- unless you wanted to play the long way.
Of course, they should be able to get the board orientation correct half the time by chance alone.

Those look like pieces that come with an old chess computer. They are alot like the ones I got with my Novag, as I posted in this thread:
http://www.chess.com/forum/view/chess-equipment/chess-computers-1
My pieces have the same magnet on the bottom, and stick to each other.
That's what makes them "electronic" I guess, although without the computer, you would be hard pressed to tell!
