Chess Openings Wizard won't be reading CBV files. Even when it reads PGN files, it's usually to enhance an opening repertoire rather than to add games to a collection.
Guardianx9....Why do you whine about "mac is wack" or "who told them to buy apple"? That is really not relevant to the question. There are a lot of reasons one would go Apple over PC. Chessbase is not the only use of a computer. The question was can they work together and the answer is no. Thankfully a mac can run windows just fine with programs like parallels. Just wanted to reduce the number of steps. Since so many first world people are on macs it would be great to be shown a little love.
Chess Openings Wizard for Mac came out in 2016.
The iPad companion app is currently being beta tested in the Apple app store (May 10, 2018).

I heard that Chessbase is developing a version for Mac this time.
Been using Chess Studio and Hiarcs Chess explorer with the mac but would be great if Chessbase was cross platform.
Chess Openings Wizard runs natively on the latest M1 and M2 Macs.
COW also runs well on older Intel Macs.

Not really that helpful if you have a Mac with a M2 chip , As no longer has a boot camp ! Would nice if there was a APP for Mac .

For a Mac with an M2 chip you'll want Chess Openings Wizard.

This is the first I've seen this. Apple occasionally forces app developers to update their apps. Good thing I'm about to release an update!

It looks like it's fixed. Apple wanted more assurance that new apps didn't collect data, probably from all the concern about TikTok.
