Ever notice how in theme sets the bad guys are always black and the good guys are white?

Why does one of the pieces look like Yoda?

Dunno! This set was designed by an artist. Maybe he liked Star Wars.

Love the "BEER" chess set. So when you "Take a piece" you have to drink it? It becomes a game of "endurance" toward the end (if both players arent sloshed)

I will like to Know the rules to play  this one

That golf one is a good example of not knowing what is each piece.  Obviously the guy with the trophy is the king and the woman is the queen, and the one with 8 copies are the pawns, but past that they can all be interchangeable.  Typically inanimate objects are the rooks, so that kind of answers the thing about the clubs, but not the knight and bishop.

Most of these sets are nice to look at and they would all delight a collector's heart. If I had the money to spend and a good place to put them I would buy them all but when it comes to playing I would still use my $20 plastic Staunton tournament pieces.
