I have never seen a set like this. (#97)  How clever.  Of course, being that I like ships probably has nothing to do with it at all.

Is very original and You can move every piece independent. I see another set where the pieces are sailboats of different size. I see if  i find a pic of that

Played in three dimensions. Each move made, the piece appears on one of the other boards.

I really dont know the exactly rules,as Johnyoudell said the pieces change the board as you move,I dont know if You can jump with your pieces anywhere. I see If I can find the rules.Look like fun to play and hard.

McCoy wasn't playing Spock.  Spock was playing against the computer.  The thing about chess in Star Trek is that the boards changed from episode to episode, and even from scene to scene.  No rules were created.  Some game company eventually made rules and released the game, but one could argue that it is or isn't accurate to the show.

Yeah, I was thinking it meant "Wired" at first, like maybe pieces made out of wires.  I realized later it meant weird.

This one has wires:

What really happened in Star Trek is that they wanted a chess game that looked futuristic.
