Both are bad, but if you were going to play on a board with one of those designs, I’d recommend the white version.

The swirls are too distracting. They need to be toned down a lot.

Between these two I would choose the white board. I feel as if it has better contrast with the swirls that the black.

The black looks better with the swirls, because the swirls are a darker hue, so the black doesn't "clash" with it.
