So the time is adding before your move which is normal for most tournaments
Some clocks have the choice of add before or after
So with add before your increment should be added before move 1

Hello GMPatzer!
Thank you for participating.
In fact, it's the first time I see any digital chess clock behave this way.
When I press the button, the increment time that should be triggered on my chess clock is placed in the opponent's time, which is very bad.
Imagine the following situation: the opponent has 10 seconds of time. When playing, increase 30 seconds to his time! It's illogical!
For better understanding, I'll videotape you so that you can chess clock and understand what's really going on.
Thank you!
Hello friends!
As combined, follows a video of my own showing several chess clocks and the increase.
In FIDE rules, the increment must be made in the time of who triggers the clock and not just the opposite.
I tried contacting the manufacturer and so far I have not gotten any feedback on my emails. Any suggestion? From what you can see, I believe that the configuration of my ZMF-PRO was performed correctly.
Thanks for any help.
Hello!
I received the return from the manufacturer.
Now I get it, Fish-Killer. The clock was designed without support for the increment system I need (Bronstein). There is no way to add it with new configuration.
In my country, we understand BRONSTEIN as a delay and not an addition.
Here for us, the FISCHER increment is added in our time and not in the opponent's.
I think it's strange, but I'll have to accept it.
Unfortunately I lost the investment. Thank you all.
I imagined a way to add the increment to the player that has to receive it, even though visually it may be different from what happens with DGT, but in the time aspect it'll be the same:
If you wanted to play 3min with 2s increment, the clock should be set as:
black: 03:00
white: 03:02
(2 inc)
And well that's it, white receives it before moving, and black after white touches his first move.
Something like that, not 100% sure, but the same should be with delay.
Hello PiezasdeAjedrez.
Very interesting! It really is functional and a way to "correct" the lack of the resource in this kind of increment, in which it is so usual.
Even with this alternative, in official tournaments in my country, this chess clock will not be accepted. Here we play incrementally on your time and not on the opponent when triggering the clock.
Many thanks for your assistance!
Hey! So what I discovered with this clock is if you change the letter on the delay page, to C or that other symbol, it will reverse this issue you’re having. You might have to toggle pre or post as well on the increment type…
that aside the issue im experiencing is I can’t figure out how to get the increment to start adding after move 1 instead of before move 1

Try using the post "after" setting. It will add it after the move.
Hello!
I bought the ZMF PRO chess clock and to my surprise, when setting the increment, the same is performing on the opponent's watch when you press the button. If the opponent presses the clock, the increase will be made in my time.
Is it any configuration or problem of clock version? I got it this year (2019). How can I solve?
Thanks.
