If you want structured lessons and formal teaching, you'll probably have to find a coach and they are almost never free. However, if you just want to learn and get some advice: there are many players who don't mind playing a game or two and exchanging thoughts after the game. This post-mortem analysis is especially common at OTB events and at chess clubs - everyone wants to improve their own game and so it benefits both players to review some ideas afterwards.
If you like, we could even play a few unrated live games for learning purposes, but it is also important to find friends closer to your own rating who you can do this with somewhat regularly ![]()
Would anyone be willing to help me with my game?
I feel like I have a decent general understanding of the game but can't seem to improve further .
I usually play blitz games and hover between 900-1100 mark.
