Hmm, well you can play through all the master games here from both sides. https://www.chess.com/games

And you can pick any spot in those games and play them out against the computer but I suspect your moves may be a little different.

I have games that I want to go through in my BCM (british chess magazine) and other books and it would be  much easier to visualise the development of the game on screen. So in a sense I want to play both sides white and black. I have an app on my phone 'chess pro' that allows me to do this. So I was hoping I could do this on chess .com

On the website, the analysis board lets you play out moves, add analysis or not, save or not.

In the apps, the Pass and Play option would let you play both sides. They don't provide analysis.
