Has anyone noticed this issue, or is it just me?

I have a gold membership, and should have access to three lessons per week. However, the past two weeks I have been allowed to do only one lesson per week, same as basic membership. I have reported this to support, have not heard back yet.

Anyone else experienced this too? It sucks, lessons are the only reason I upgraded to gold, I can get unlimited free puzzles elsewhere.

Please chess.com, fix this annoying problem!

I can't see a list of the lessons that you did.

However, you can write to support@chess.com and I think they can tell you which ones you did.

It usually comes down to when someone starts counting.

Also, some of the new lessons are relatively short.

Thanks for your reply @justbefair

Was allowed to do only Triangulation the week of July 11-17, and only Lucena Position the week that started today. Can you help? Basically I paid for a service that is not being delivered.

As I said, I can't help other than to tell you to write to support@chess.com.

I am pretty sure they can see what you have done and when and they will work with you if anything isn't working properly.

Nothing wrong with admitting that this could actually be a real issue and perhaps look into a solution rather than trying to offer unrealistic excuses.

Hmm.  I guess I have seen this issue come up many times over the years and it always came down to when someone started counting their day/ week.

Or when they revised all the lessons several years ago, whether or not one old lesson should count the same as one of the new lessons.

Why don't you write to support and find out?

You would think that by now I must have read the rules around lessons

https://support.chess.com/article/284-how-do-lessons-work

NOTE: Lesson counts reset each week on Sunday at midnight. Repeating a lesson does NOT count toward your total for the week.

As mentioned in my very first post at the top, I already wrote to support, and have not heard back yet. I am just trying to find out if others are experiencing the same.

I will say that the patronizing tone is not really helpful.

I am not trying to be patronizing.  I just asked that you write an email to support.  People often confuse posting a thread as contacting support.
