Weird Strategy

so I've recently started chess. And it's making me go mad, I've scribbled strategies on walls and have imagine different openings at random. but I've discovered an opening/tactic that works on very high level bots (2000 elo) First when on white, start with the Sodium Attack (underated) then, black will most likely try to bring forth a Sicilian, reject this advance and use the Sodium Attack's counter part, the Amar opening. this will most likely cause them to use a bishop to capture the knight (usually on left) and you capture it with it's queen. if you are lucky, you can get both bishops to capture your knights and completely trade. Now you are the only one with bishops. and they are the only ones with knights. I'm going insane.

It is better to play solid openings than moves like 1. Na3 and play "hope chess" - that is, to "hope" that your opponent falls for something.

I recommend learning opening principles, rather than trying to invent new opening novelties. Once you become a titled player, then you might be able to invent opening novelties built off of previous theory wink.png

p.s. Titled player was an example; non-titled players have contributed to opening theory in some cases as well, but when you chess.com account is 2 days old, it is much better to learn the basics before trying to invent things on your own (and worse if you go insane in that doomed-to-fail process: https://www.chess.com/blog/KeSetoKaiba/opening-principles-again
