Chess coaching in exchange for language practising

Hi everyone!

My name is David and I am a tournamment player with around ten years of experience. I've also done a few coaching in the past.

I am now interested in improving my language skills, so if you are a native speaker of English, French, German or Portuguese, today is your lucky day! I will offer you chess coaching in your native tongue in exchange for allowing me to practice with you.

I accept any kind of student regardless of age, experience and skill. However I think unexperienced adults rated below 1800 (FIDE) will get the most out of me!

If you are interested, please contact me via private message.

See you soon!

I was thinking to make a similar offer in the forum.

I am very interested!

I can help you with Portuguese and German.

Sou brasileiro e falo fluentemente o portugues com sotaque brasileiro.

Ich wohne seit 1988 in der Schweiz und spreche fliessend Deutsch.

When would you like to begin? And how?

I have some experience in learning and teaching languages, so I think I can help you to speed up the learning process.

My method is based in learning well (with a good pronunciation) sentences that you will use regularly in daily life.

Not in hotels or restaurants, but in conversations where you will have the opportunity to use standard sentences over and over again.

Sentences that refers to your life, hobbies, your opinions about things that are important for you, etc.

Why you are much stronger in blitz than in Daily? For most people is the opposite.

Why you began the thread if you are not reacting to the posts? I am not interested anymore.

I am stronger in Blitz because I never play it.

I'd be interested in working with you. I've been out for a week (that's why I asked for private messages instead of replies)

First of all, thank you for your proposal. It makes me happy to see that my announcement had such a good repercusion.

However, since there are simply too many of you, I would not like to make distinctions. Since I'd like to help you all, I decided to write a guide that will help you to improve your game.

The version you can find right now in this link http://docdro.id/BW3vxsV is still uncomplete and uneditted, but it may be helpful anyway. Future versions will include more content (check the forum for updates)

This guide is completely free, since its writting helps me with my English, and that is the main purpose why I write it. However, I accept donations on Patreon, SEE: http://www.patreon.com/chessguides
