I am a young child who is in love with chess, but I want to get to the level were I am highly competitive in all my games. Can anyone help? I would be happy if someone would mentor me
Much more likely to receive mentoring from a fellow group/club member. Why not join a few? And of course if you could convince your parents to buy you a diamond membership for $100 a year then you would have more material available for study than there are hours in the day. Best of luck!
Wow. You are obviously addicted to chess. I'll introduce you to my coach Mr.Dr.B! He is an incredible teacher. If you can't get ahold of him, I suggest a diamond membership and a lot of chess mentor on the computer!
Hey bud, I was at a 1000 level in july. Now I am ~1600 and consider myself competitive. My best advice for u would be to play a lot of standard games on this website, and then analyze them, and then do lots and lots of tactics on Chesstempo.once your calculation is better u will rip through your opponents
