How committed are you?

You will go crazy. Look at us we are all on psychologist medication. Lets all show him our pulls! And if you don't believe us just look at fischer chess drove him crazy. Guess he was right. And if you look at my openings guess I am certifiable too!

I am new to playing and am absorbing as much as I can. I would like to be good at playing but have no desire for it to become just mechanical. I watched an interview with fisher as an older man and I can understand why he felt like playing in his era was better and more exciting than this computer age. I follow simple rules from the open to end game and expanding as I go. I am sure my progress will be slower than others but the first online game I played I did well and mated my opponent in the end. My opening was not planned it was organic but sound and it worked and I kept my pieces connected at all times but it was done my way all the way through and it felt great.

I now coach professionally and expanding the chess coaching business. How's that for committed ?

but isn't chess supose to be fun?  i find it ironic that people seem to torture themselves with it:)

i was committed once.  they let me out in an hour. :}
