1. d4 Nf6 2. d5!?!

I was surprised by this at a chess club lately and was definitely thrown out of my comfort zone.  White is certain to capture or e.p. anything that challenges or tries to seak past his d-pawn.  Any suggestions?

I usually fianchetto and castle, like a king's indian, or try to trap them like this.

The pawn push simply restricts white's options. Black can start active measures against the d5 pawn.

this is an opening which is kind of like the fried liver attack that can be unpleaseant but unsound when played by masters.

I'm always interested in sidelines, but 2.d5 is just an easy target for black and it should be answered with energetic play. Theory suggests:
