A new opening for white
What's exactly your question or a debating point ?!?

Well I don't even understand why are you calling its a new opening...... It's just the Marshall Variation of QGD

If your opponents in depth opening preparation produces 2...Nf6 don't think have much to worry about in that regard. Especially when the level of play is such can ignore illegal moves, and why is 19d6ch so unusual?! All very strange. Maybe the great innovation was playing this move without announcing check... Round 2 the indepth opening prep produces 3...Nc6, umm.
The third game seems most interesting. 13Nf5 was an unexpectedly good move, and makes e5,e5xf4 blunders. The OP is coy about 14e5 although clearly has looked at game with software himself. Looking at game without software was wondering if 14Nxg7 worked, probably doesn't.
Anyway whatever OP needs to worry about it in his game, depth of opponents opening prep seems very least of problems.
Hi everyone!
A few weeks ago I played a district tournament and I played against players I've known for a few years now. In the last editions of this tournament I've ended up in the top 3. Most of my success is a result of careful opening preparation and dozens of hours of tactics and endgame practices along with books and websites.
Nonetheless, winning has become far more difficult against the same old rivals because they've learnt my tricks and have prepared defences against my openings. The next district tournament is in May, but I need to improve to counter my opponents preparation. I would like to ask the Chess.com community, which opening, a new one, do you recommend for me when I play with the white pieces?
My last opening with white was the Queen's Gambit. I have used it for a year or two and my results have improved. However, because of the previously mentioned, I need a change. I will leave some matches of the district tournament so you can assess me better.
This was round 1. Probably the most absurd round in my life.
This was round 2. I was the white pieces in this round.
Now, round 3. In this match, I'm the black pieces. My opponent had destroyed my Sicilian but I managed to escape and I still don't know how I won this nor how I got in such a terrible mess.
Finally, round 4. This was my best game (in my opinion). Although it was an opponet who had trained to beat me in the Queen's Gambit, I played what I knew and eventually won. I'm the white pieces here.
Hopefully I can get some advice on how to continue.
Thank you very much,
CatSoupXT
