A00 Van Geet/Dunst Opening
There's nothing wrong with the Dunst Opening. The main thing to be prepared for is the wide variety of openings that this can transpose into. If your opening knowledge is fairly good, no problem. If not, and you try it against a pretty good player that knows openings well, then they could get a big advantage by steering the game into an opening and line for which you are will not be prepared.
I haven't played this opening yet, but some of the stats I have seen are pretty enticing. I am an amateur player in every sense of the word, so I would really like to know the weak points and strong points of this opening. Wikipedia has some good information on it. I'll include a game from 1950 between Dunst/Gresser. Any input on this opening would be appreciated greatly. I normally play the Spanish Game (Ruy Lopez), and I would like to add another opening to my repertoire. Thanks in advance gentlemen.
