Take advise from me with a grain of salt. This move is done to me a lot and I also do it...I would move my bishop to h4 thereby retaining the pin of black's knight to its queen. Black's response could be pawn to g5 threating your bishop. I don't mind when the opponent does those moves as it seems to advance his pawns too quickly even though you've move the same piece twice. If he doesn't eg5 then you still have the pin.

Hello
Looking for advice. In a recent game I played as white and we got into the French Defence main line until this move from Black. It threw me, I was expecting B-K2 (e7) rather than the Pawn H6 threatening my bishop.
I think (?) it was a bad move by black, but I'm not sure if so what the response from white is recommended to be. The game is ongoing.
Appreciate advice.
Thanks
