Please post a diagram or move notations what tricks do you know in Alapin to win or outplay black .

M personal favorite is this :

1. e4 c5

2.  c3 d5

3. e × d5  Q × d5

4. d4 g6

5. d × c5  Q × c5

6. Be3  Qc7

7. B × a7  R × a7

8 Qd4

Whites grabs an extra material and black isolates white Queen from the game and later trying to trap it (which is not that easy).

Please be free to post my variation on a diagram if you can , thank you I appreciate that.

It's just a game, but I'm looking for some opening tricks or traps or some theory which includes traps, opening surprises Just like my own example given above. It seems like you didn't read the post.

The chess.com lessons on the Alapin are quite good and show some traps to watch out for.

#4 nice one , especially second one .

Do you know anything else except g6 move by black on move 4 , I mean do you know any other traps if black doesn't respond with g6 move on move 4 .
