Another New and Sound Gambit

This is where the gambit begins. The best move here is dxe5. If Nxe5, then Nxd4 when all of the tactics favor Black. |
I'm not sure that dxe5 is best at all... At a glance, c3, Nc3, and Be3 all seem like better alternatives.

Strange opening, I could see how it would be effective, but rarely does someone answer 1.e4 with Nc6 in the first place. Move 2 black would probably not even play d5 fearing a huge target with his queen after 2. d4 exd4 qxd4
Move 3 white would obviously not play dxe5 after 3. dxe5 qxd5 kxd5
Yes, white wins a momentary pawn but his king can no longer castle, and it is a sitting duck on the now-open e-file.
So, even though, in a perfect world if these mistakes by white were made, black would have great tempo, development, and space, but very rarely would this strange opening ever be played

3. exd5 is not an usual move, better 3. Nc3
4.. e5 can transpose to a Chigorin defense variation with 5. Nc3 Bb4, but better for black is to play 4... Bg4.

My friend made this gambit up. It is very good and gives at least an equal game. Any attempt to hold on to the pawn will result in a disadvantage. What do you think of it?
