Any way I can counter the Staunton Gambit?

I recently added the Dutch to my repertoire, and I'm kinda hooked to it. I've won a lot of games against my friends, and even helped me win a school tournament. Although, I heard about this gambit, and I've heard it's a very powerful weapon. Is there a way for me to counter, or atleast get a balanced position against the Staunton gambit? I couldn't find a detailed explanation online about the gambit so far.

Simon Williams like the Classical Dutch and plays 1…e6 to avoid the Staunton. However, you will need to know how to play the French if you down this line

I like the Staunton, but objectively, there are better aggressive lines against the Dutch. If you play a provocative opening like the Dutch, you have to be ready to play games where the opponent tries to refute your opening with hyperaggressive approaches. The line mentioned above with 4...Nc6 is a decent antidote. 4...g6 was the latest fashion when I checked the Staunton the last time.
