Barcza (KIA) Opening

Here is my idea of a set up for Black based on a strong center and Queenside castling:

Not bad, although I prefer 5. d4 for white (playing at undermining the center), and 6. dxe4! for black (playing at controlling the d file)

In your final variation I would actually much prefer black.  Its hard how white can generate an attack (although admittedly black is moving slowly as well), due to c3 opening the d file, and f4 opening lines around the king.  What exactly is white going to do to free his position?

That is exactly my point. Once White commits to the Kingside attack by gaining space there, you immediately lock up the center and castle Queenside. In this way, Black can achieve a good position; if not a winning one.

Looks like people went crazy while I was away.
