slav is better that QGD imo because exd5 after cxd5 is kind of stupid and unsafe but there is also Qxd5 happy.png

Thanks.  I don't even know who does that video.  I just know that for those who don't have the time and/or resources and/or inclination to purchase Emms' Discovering Chess Openings (which would be my first recommendation) but they do have 8 minutes to spare in this age of shortened attention span, that this video covers the basic foundation of opening principles.
