if you like predictability go with that but another good opening for youre bishop and queen is the QG

1.e4 opens two diagonals. No other pawn move opens more than one. The thing is though, an opening is much, much more than just the first move. You can try fianchettoing your bishops if you really like diagonals, such as in the king's indian attack, or catalan (or many other openings I won't try to name). What matters is not how many moves you have after your first move, but how you develop your entire army.

No matter how I look at it e4 seems to open up the most options for my diaganols, I was wondering if anyone knew of another opening that would give me diaganols superior to these
