Bongcloud Opening Book

After reading a bit of this thread, I went onto live chess and faced the bong cloud for the first time. My opponent had the advantage but didn't protect h2 or attack f7 and I managed to pull off the win. I was lucky

I started playing the Hammerschlag (1.f3 e5 2.Kf2!), which is one of the "unofficial" Bongclouds listed in the ECO; but the Bongcloud seems better!

P.D: I would like to add the Pawn Advance variation In Alekhine's Bongcloud:

1.e4 Nf6 2.e5!? (not as good as Ke2, but still good) Nd5 3.Ke2

 Looks solid to me.

Did you know that King David's (L25) was also in the ECO?

Oh, and I want to get credit for the "Modern defense: castle counterattack", which I tested in this game with success:

1.e4 g6 (1... g5) might also work, I have to try it) 2.Ke2 Nf6 3.Ke3 Bh6+ 4.Kg3 0-0. It's one way of delaying the Bongcloud and prepare your support troops to help the king.

echecs06, all I can say is swing and a miss.  Thanks for the bump though.

The black king retreat was a bit soft though.

heres a bongcloud win against a computer

This goes to show why computers shouldnt play chess

so heres the game with the Wherever I May Roam Attack (Mettalica reffrence)

how bout the Sicillian Mobster Attack

1. e4 c5  2. Nf3 d6  3. d4 Kd7!!

awsome opening I have yet to try it as i have just come up with it but it should work

Ben_Dubuque

the idea Behind the Sicillian Mobster Deffence is to move the king to the queenside then back to the kingside so that your opponent wastes time defending heres the diagram

Ben_Dubuque

its an example it has no logic for that reason just like a school textbook

Ben_Dubuque

well heres a good game from the South Korean Bombshelter

Ben_Dubuque

oh by the way this might be a good variation named after my profile picture

The Pelican Fortress: it alows the king to march up the kingside while asisted by a knight

Ben_Dubuque

heres a lind to one of my Bongcloud games however i didnot try to get my king to the other side but instead focused on luring my oponent to over extend

I was trying to avoid crowding on the king side by playing ke6

I prefer L34-1.e4 f5 2.Ke2 Kf7-Fred Randal Defense for black.

Ben_Dubuque

It might have worked but it forces kingside vs queenside which and be violent and quick
