C40 Help??

I'm curious about this opening line. 1. E4 E5 2.Nf3 f5. I'm wondering if this is any good for black, pros cons? I know the continuation must be either 3.Nxe5 or 3.exf5. right? just wondering if i could get some input from people on what the best line for black to take is, and maybe chances they would get from this opening.

Personally, I love when black moves their pawn off of f7 it makes attacking so much easier.

thank you pawnlever, and to all the rest of you as well. i played a couple of blitz games with it...didn't do much for me, i think i'll leave it alone. Someone pulled it out against me, i dominated that game...but i was curious about it.
