Can Chess.com start games with theoretically drawn endgames and let players start at that point?

I rarely get into endgames where the position is fairly balanced or there is enough time to reasonably think.

I would love to see this feature implemented.

Everyone's thoughts?

Maybe you'll see more endgames as your rating progresses. In practice, a drawn endgame is usually the result of fine play and sound decisions from both sides.

You could just make an unrated custom FEN daily game starting with a drawn endgame position and then someone will accept probably.

No because what makes the game relevant is when you play positions whose status is unknown (a proof that a position is a draw is basically an infaillible strategy to get at least a draw for either player).

You do get endgame positions in Puzzles - perhaps that's the closest thing to what you're suggesting (although admittedly not exactly the same). Maybe there's some way Chess.com could allow you to choose which types of Puzzle you want to practise then you could focus on this aspect...
