I am i think an advanced beginner

i m good at opening with white but not with white

what r the difference between opening as white and opening as black

and what should be my plans while opening as black

 There are books that advise Black to first seek to equalize with White before taking the inititive in the Opening of a game. One Opening  to view of this particular stragedy is the French Defense. Most amaters as white open with pawn to e4.

If you are a beginner, you are not good at the opening with either side. The opening in chess is extremely complex. The openings that seem so simple and standard to everyone have been developed over centuries by the best players in the game. It is very difficult to really understand everything about an opening.

You'll do much better to learn about using the pieces in the middle game where creativity rules and in the endgame where some simpler positions allow a very good understanding (there are also very complex endgames!).

As for the opening, if you are a beginner, your goal should be the same from both sides of the board: involve all your pieces in the game, fight for control of the center, secure your king.

How do you approach that plan? 1. Get all your minor pieces off the back rank, 2. castle, 3. activate your queen, 4. use your rooks where they are not behind pawns or they are behind pawns you will push.

Moves that don't accomplish those goals -- or distract your opponent from accomplishing those goals -- should only be made to preserve your material. This means, don't make a bunch of pawn moves while your pieces are left behind, don't go moving one piece over and over again while others don't participate, don't put your knights on the side of the board, try not to let your bishops get stuck behind pawns.

Look at what good players are playing in the opening. Do something like they do, but be careful! There may be very subtle reasons for the moves they make.
