For a long time I had a great life with the Slavic defense.
But the series of defeats in the low-popular openings, like Colle, London and White Stoneval - forced me to look for something more radical.

Now I am preparing 1...c5 for my opponents.

I do not claim that it is a reliable system.
But the players of U2000 are often confused at the board, because they have to think for themselves, rather than crawling ten standart moves. So, I think this is what I was looking for!

Just a small example of how to confuse an experienced d4-wolf.

Highly-respected @BL4D3RUNN3R said the Smith-Morra gambit, but if you made the d4-player (often a Londoner or Colle fan) play the Sicilian gambit, Damn !, you are already on the right way, I think.

This particular line...Schmidt Benoni I think, take a look at Sevian - McShane from the current World Team Championship Round 3 from the other day.

Very entertaining...McShane clearly understands chess better than Sevian. It ended in a draw (and don't pay attention to engine evals on this one) but any true chess player would be impressed by Blacks play.

Try Budapest gambit, or Winawer gambit, or Fajarowitz gambit or Albin countergambit, or just the Dutch if you want something less risky

Winawer gambit looks interesting @congrandolorm but how to play against moves such as 3. Nf3?
