Classical caro kann

Hello, I play the caro-kann and I've been facing some problems in the classical variation. First I have tried the classical Bf5 variation, in the O-O lines there are a lot of sharp positions with g4 that are scary to me, and the O-O-O are too passive. So, I decided to change to the Karpov variation with Cd7, but the lines with Ng5 are very annoying and uncomfortable for black. Can anyone give any tip about it?is the tartakower/korchnoi variation playable as main varaition? or should I try still playing the Cd7? thank you

Nf6 is easy to play and ok, your structure looks bad but all your pieces have good squares and not so easy for white to prove any advantage.

Thank you! its a good idea! Can I play with the h6 or g6 ideas, or h5 is the best option? Is this variation good for a main option? like in a classical game?
