There is nothing new under the sun.
Tried something new
The "new thing" is 5...d5? which just drops a pawn for nothing (5...Nh6 is the normal move).
I have a new opening, it's a line in the CCD I call it the Peretz Variation. I have a study on lichess on it please give me your feedback!!

I didn't "invent" an opening, but listening to advice about the opening, like play for the center, don't move pieces twice, develope your minor pieces, I found myself making the same moves often. When I finally researched it, actually studying chess for the first time ever, about two weeks ago, I at first thought it was the Queen's Pawn Opening, Zukertort Variation, not realizing, and this shows you what a noob I am, that this was a name for exactly the first two moves, nothing more... 1. d4... 2. Nf3. What I was actually playing was the Jobava London, a very simple opening with obvious ideas. I think if it's an opening that makes any sense, it's likely already played.
My opening: A line in the obscure Clarendon Court Defense: The Peretz Variation!

But your light square Bishop is trapped, your Knight can only go to h3, and your King is exposed on two diagonals.
