I think it derrives from the Italian variation from the Petrov
Does this opening has a name? (1. e4 e5 2. Nf3 Bd6 3. Bc4 Nf6)

it's called the bsdtbhdpwhbatbidlafphp opening. it stands for 'black stupidly decided to block his d pawn with his bishop and the bishop is doing little apart from protecting his pawn.'

Protecting the e5 pawn with the bishop can be good under certain circumstances, for example:
Here the move ...Bd6 is perfectly good: Black intends to play ...0-0 and ...Re8 to cover the e5 square, and then (probably) drop the bishop back to f8, and likely push d7-d7 in one go.
It just does not work at move 2: too early for such an odd placement. 3.d4 is a very good answer, and there are other moves as well, including all the logical ones (Bc4, Nc3, c3) which should give white an advantage, since Black has no time to achieve his model setup.
Most of the times 2...Bd6 is played because Black is a beginnner, and not with some plan in mind.
I didn't find anything on Wikipedia. My Arena 3.5.1 calls it "Open Game" and Chess.com's Explorer calls it "King's Pawn Opening: King's Knight Variation". But that doesn't take into account black's 2. ... Bd6 move. I was hoping for a more poetic name, such as Macedonian Game or Donkey Opening or something
Do you know any such name for this opening? Thanks.
